IT'S A CELEBRATION
We will get married in London with a civil ceremony on 27th August 2022 in our Chelsea at the Old Town Hall at 5pm, in the wonderful Brydon room. Afterwards, we will offer aperitivo and dinner in the hidden gem private conservatory of the Manicomio Chelsea restaurant starting from 6:30pm.
In Blanes, Costa Brava, we will join in front of the Sea with an extremely significant symbolic ceremony for us officiated by our dear friend Deborah on 2nd October 2022 at El Convent de Blanes at 4pm. An aperitivo and dinner will be served by the skilled hands of Chef Jubany.
We will continue to party Spanish-style until late!

For those who would like to, on Saturday 1st October we will host a party prequel on a catamaran starting from 3pm, details will follow shortly.

Access from the Chelsea Manor St entrance starting at 4.45pm, the Bride will also arrive there.
They will take you to the lobby and then to the Brydon room at 5pm.
At the end of the ceremony, exit onto King's Road.

HOTELS
We have discount codes for two beachfront hotels, one in Blanes 4* and one in Lloret de Mar 5*, but keep in mind that in this area ratings are quite generous.

Hotel Horitzò in Blanes, 4 *. For the 10% discount code you have to call them on +34972330400 declaring that you are “Invitados de Monica y Andrea”.
Suggestions: among the sea view rooms, avoid the 5th floor; the cheapest rooms are on the internal space, quite dark.
​
Hotel Santa Marta in Lloret de Mar, 5 stars in the bay before the city, 15 minutes by road from Blanes, use discount code monicaandrea on their website, which already offers an automatic 5% discount plus another 5% with the code.
​
For those who prefer DIY, in Blanes there are other 3-4 star hotels inside or with lower ratings, in Lloret de Mar there is a lot of choice but be careful not to get one near a disco.
​
Remember that all events will be in Banes.
FLIGHTS
Barcelona airport is certainly the best served, while Girona - Costa Brava airport is the closest.

Shuttle to/from Barcelona airport
Few hotels organise airport transfers, and not the Horitzò, but there is a direct shuttle bus that leaves every hour, Flybus, €14 one way per person to Blanes central bus station, 7 minutes walk from Hotel Horitzò.

Or you can rent a car (please see next box).
CAR RENTAL
If you prefer to rent a car, beware that in Barcelona even international brands are not nice about extras and finding damage not done. We were OK with Europcar/Keddy. Of the others, absolutely avoid those with ratings below 3*.
​
We recommend making a complete video of the car upon departure and return, also showing the place where you are parked.
​
Then, to be on the safe side, you can go via resellers like rentalcars.com who offer the full cover at much lower prices. In any case you will need to have a credit card with up to 1500 euros remaining credit, otherwise they will oblige you to take out the full insurance directly.

TRASPORTI LOCALI
Abbiamo previsto un bus di cortesia.
Il primo bus partirà alle 15:30 dall'Hostal Sa Malica.
Il secondo dall'Hotel Horitzò alle 15.50 di fronte all'hotel. Ci sarà un ultimo bus dall'Hotel Horitzò alle 16.05 per i ritardatari.
Alla sera il bus sarà in servizio dalle 23.30 fino alle 3.30 per tornare agli hotel di Blanes.

Il tempo è previsto bello ed abbastanza caldo nelle prime ore di uscita.
L'acqua è fresca per i coraggiosi che vogliono fare il bagno.
Verso sera si consiglia di avere un maglioncino o una giacchetta.
